ADDITIONAL TRAVEL INFORMATION

The workshop will be providing transportation to/ from the laboratory. Information will be posted on this page when it is available.

From Newark Liberty International Airport - passengers may take the AirTrain to the station, where they should transfer to the New Jersey Transit (800-772-2222) train to Princeton Junction Train Station on the Northeast Corridor Line. After arriving at the Princeton Junction Train Station, take a cab to Princeton Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory. Trains have limited space for baggage.

From Philadelphia International Airport - take Septa's Rail Line (215-580-7800) to 30th Street Station and transfer to the  train to Trenton, where you'll connect to the New Jersey Transit, Northeast Corridor Line train to Princeton Junction/Princeton. Trains have limited space for baggage.

Traveling to/from Princeton and to/from the local airports using the State Shuttle airport shuttle service. Reservations for trips from the airport must be made in advance of your trip. To place a reservation,                 call 1-800-822-9797 or 1-732-938-6666

State Shuttle offers economical direct scheduled service to and from Newark Liberty, JFK International, LaGuardia, Atlantic City, and Philadelphia airports connecting with several locations in the Princeton area.  Please check their website for current rates. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, travelers checks, and cash are accepted. Passengers are permitted two large suitcases and one carry-on per person. Oversized luggage will be loaded on a space available basis. Since there are several stops on the route, the trip to Princeton can take up to two hours from Newark Liberty and Philadelphia airports, and up to four hours from JFK and LaGuardia airports, assuming no delays.
